WHAT ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS WILL BE ASSESSED IN CONSIDERING MY APPLICATION?

The following aspects will be considered in
consultation with the agencies indicated:

Sensitive wildlife habitats
(Natural Heritage Areas/SAC's) 		National Parks & Wildlife Service
Archaeological sites and monuments National
Drinking Water Supplies Local Authorities
Outstanding landscapes and high amenity areas Local Authorities
Fisheries Regional Fisheries Boards

In addition, the design of the plantation in relation to size, shape, species diversity, edge design and distances from houses and roads will also be taken into account. Local Authorities are also consulted on all applications over 25 hectares.
